SERMON SERIES • THE BIBLE'S ONE SCARLET THREAD

 The Bible is comprised of 66 books, written by dozens of authors over the course of thousands of years, yet one overarching theme runs through its pages from cover to cover. This five-week series of messages employs video clips from the mini-series "The Bible" to show the scarlet thread of God’s redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, we will study a different Bible story and see another aspect of God’s plan to save us.

SENIOR ADULT MINISTRY • CROSSING ALL BORDERS  • 4/16 • 10 AM • Fellowship Hall

Silver Servants invites senior adults to meet Joeth Strickland, founder of Crossing All Borders, in Angier. Crossing All Borders Ministry is an important outreach program that erases geographic, ethnic, economic, educational, and denominational borders to help those in need. Joeth will share stories of how this ministry demonstrates the love of Jesus, reaches people for Christ, and provides spiritual growth through missions. Billie Matthews will be leading a service project during the event; expect easy projects while sitting in the comfort of the Fellowship Hall. Coffee and cake will be provided, event will go till 12:30 PM. You can sign up on Realm. If you want to know more about the story of this ministry, Joeth just published her first book: Faithful in Small Things: How God Grew a Ministry from One Home to Serve 104 Nations. Books will be available for $10.

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER SERVICE • 5/2 • Noon • Chapel

Join with others in prayer at our National Day of Prayer Service. During the service, our prayer focus will be over our nation, in these specific areas: President and Those in Authority, Judges and Judicial System, Teachers and Educational System, Military and First Responders, Economy, Families and Homes, and Churches and Pastors. Please join us in lifting up our country in prayer.

DISCOVERING MOUNT ZION • 5/5 • 1-3:30 PM • Fellowship Hall

Have you ever wondered about the "ins and outs" of Mount Zion? Have you considered joining the church but would like more information? Then plan to attend our next Discovering Mount Zion class. HS JUNIOR & SENIOR SNEAK AWAY

5/18 • 6:30 AM - Midnight - (SECRET SNEAK AWAY DESTINATION)

Juniors and Seniors will gather together Friday night to hear from leaders and college students on guardrails, and resources to help them as they plan for and leave for college. Students will return home to sleep, and will return the next morning, for their surprise sneak away day! Students will return by midnight. The cost is $60, register HERE or in Realm.

ELEVATE KIDS SUMMER DAY CAMP • Wednesdays 8 AM - Noon • 6/12 - 7/31 • Free

Ages • 1 Year - rising 5th Grade

A weekly day camp where children engage in interactive lessons that involve games, science, cooking, crafts and more, that are designed to match Mount Zion’s mission and vision to call children Upward, Onward and Outward in their walk with our Lord. MISSIONS WEEKEND • JOY RANCH A CHRISTIAN HOME FOR CHILDREN•  6/27-7/01 • $60 

Missions Team is sponsoring a service weekend at Joy Ranch in Woodlawn, Virginia. This opportunity is open to all adults; in addition, youth may participate if accompanied by their parent/guardian. Over the weekend, participants will focus on small construction jobs, relational ministry, as well as other Joy Ranch needs. Please register HERE or in the Realm App by May 31st.
