Children's Ministries

Let the little children come to me: do not stop them for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.

Just as Jesus did, we welcome children to the ministries of Mount Zion United Methodist Church. You will find a loving, caring atmosphere where children can come to know and grow in God’s love and learn how to share God’s love with others.

Mount Zion has a very busy Children's Ministries program. Our active children’s Sunday School classes meet Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. throughout the annex. There are many activities that are specifically designed just for the children. They include Valentine's Day, Easter, and fall parties with games and learning activities. There is a wonderful Bible School for five nights in July and a Christmas play in December. We have a Children's Church for ages two to second grade that the children can attend during the regular church services. There are various other activities throughout the year. Our children are very special to us, and we try very hard to provide a safe and positive learning experience for them.

Kid's Club: Come have fun with other kids, learn about our Lord, and help others!

:: Recycling

Please place your clean, empty aluminum cans in the recycling container at the north end of our parking lot or the collection can in the Fellowship Hall. Kid's Club will use the funds generated to support Heifer Project. Please give your clean, empty aluminum juice boxes to any Kid's Club member. Donations earned will go to the Nature Conservancy.

:: Movin' Up Day

Sunday, August 24:

At 9 a.m. the Cafe will open offering a breakfast buffet.

At 10 a.m. children will go to their current Sunday School class then receive new class assignments.

At 10:15 a.m., children will move to their new classroom.
