Missions/Service Volunteer Opportunities:

• Pizazz, an outreach of the Harbor House in Smithfield, is in need of clothing items to sell in their resale shop.  All profit is used for their shelter program.  Donations of gently used clothing can be dropped off at Pizazz at 132 E. Main Street in Clayton.  Hours are Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

• Volunteers are needed at Garner Area Ministries in Garner Village on the corner of Aversboro Road and Hwy. 70, on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Phone 919-772-9100.

• Supporters of the Food Shuttle can donate their personal Lowes Foods Rewards S&H greenpoints to support our local food shuttle.  Contact the Lowes Food Customer Care Center at 1-888-537-8646 and have this food shuttle number ready:  420227517103.

• Register your Food Lion MVP card to donate a portion of your purchases to Methodist Home for Children.  To register your cards go to www.foodlion.com or call 704-633-8250 ext. 3810.

• Volunteers are needed at the Shepherd's Shelf Food Pantry, 901 Old Fairground Road in Willow Springs, on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month from 7 to 10 a.m.  Food donations can be placed on the shelves in the narthex.  Food pick-up at the Food Pantry is from 8 to 9:30 a.m. on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays each month.
